Week 7 Notices

Kia ora whanau,

We hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend enjoying this gorgeous summer weather! It is hard to believe that there are only three weeks of the term left!

Looking back at what was going on this time last year, it was jam packed with lots of activity. Unfortunately many activities have had to be cancelled this year due to COVID and many more will also need to be cancelled. We are currently trying to figure out how our end of year celebrations, such as prize giving and Mass, will be able to be held. These will need to fit the new traffic light system. We will keep you updated when we know when we finalise these arrangements.

School Magazine
We are publishing a school magazine again this year, and this will be available during the last week of this term. At this stage there are only to be 100 magazines printed. It will be a great memento of 2021. Orders are taken now with the cost for the magazine being $10.00.

School Library
Our school library is now closed for a stocktake. Please could we all have a look at home for any outstanding books and return them as soon as possible.

Kahikatea Big Day In
Kahikatea is looking forward to our Big Day In on Monday 6 December.  Unfortunately with Covid restrictions, we are unable to invite parents to join us.  Please keep a lookout for a notice which will be sent home this week outlining all the details.

Food Bank

We also want to thank Room 14 for being so settled and welcoming with the class changes that have occurred recently. Every child has been evidently upholding all of our school values, which is incredible to see. Ka pai Room 14!

Have a great week everyone.
Nga mihi
Mrs Sorrenson, Miss Lovegrove and Team Kahikatea
