Week 10 Notices

 Te ahiahi pai (good afternoon),

I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine and are feeling recharged as we head into our last week of Term 2.

We have had a busy term with a variety of events and activities. It felt fitting that last week we practiced Christian Meditation, led by Sister Rachel and Sister Ema from the Sisters of Compassion in Wellington.

During these sessions, children were asked to sit in Silence and
Stillness with a Straight back and Say the word Maranatha to themselves, meaning come Lord Jesus. If you hear your child talking about the 4 S words, this is what they are referring to.

Christian Meditation is something we are going to continue as a school. It provides an opportunity to take a break and be still, in an otherwise very busy environment!
