Our Google Meet session today and everyone made their background blue. We also played a few games of 20 questions. These kids are getting really good at asking the right questions.

  Tena koutou. We hope all our mothers were treated with some lovely surprises today. Happy Mother's Day to all our beautiful mothers! Most of our students completed a virtual Mother's Day card. It will be in their google drive account. Please keep in your prayers those children who no longer have their mothers with them. I wanted to thank everyone for the time you took last week to be involved in your child's goal setting for this term. It was a pleasure to see all of my parents and also to meet new parents. Our children looked so charming in their national costumes dressing up for 'Children’s World of Prayer' day. They looked so proud to be part of this. The mini-marathon on Friday was a great day out. It's nice to see our whanau support, running, and cheering on our tamariki thank you. Yes School's about to start!

  Rm 14/15 2021 Teachers: Tai Waititi and Sophie Bowie Kia Ora Tatou. I’m Tai but in the class setting I am known as Mrs YTT, mama and yes sometimes nana. Teaching makes me feel like a rock star ( which is probably what I want to be when I grow up). Every day, I have children run up to me, giving me hugs, calling my name over and over again as they hear me rocking with our class guitar, Jack. I adore the children I teach and learning new things from them. I am so excited to be their teacher this year. Hello! My name is Sophie, also known as Miss Bowie. Kia ora whanau,  We hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend enjoying this gorgeous summer weather! It is hard to believe that there are only three weeks of the term left! Looking back at what was going on this time last year, it was jam packed with lots of activity. Unfortunately many activities have had to be cancelled this year due to COVID and many more will also need to be cancelled. We are currently trying to figure out how our end of year celebrations, such as prize giving and Mass, will be able to be held. These will need to fit the new traffic light system. We will keep you updated when we know when we finalise these arrangements. School Magazine We are publishing a school magazine again this year, and this will be available during the last week of this term. At this stage there are only to be 100 magazines printed.
