Check out these cool kids adding 10 onto a number. We have been looking at skip counting and adding a 10 through choral counting. This has now helped us to se the pattern and add on a 10 from any number up to 100.

Tena koutou and welcome to a new term of learning. The holidays have definitely allowed us to take some rest and to re-energise and get our brains ready for the wonderful learning that is going to take place this term. Week 9 Notices

 Talofa everyone. Last week was a jam-packed week full of so many exciting events. Our swimming sports last Monday was a real success. I am sending out a big congratulations to all our students who gave it a go and gave it their best. Also to our parent helpers, we are so grateful to have supportive parents who can help during the event. T h ank you so much for giving up some time to help in this.  We know there were touch games and a Pasifika Group performance that happened over the weekend. I am looking forward to hearing about how these went. If your child was involved in any of these events, and you took some photos, please email them to me and I will post them onto our blog. This week we remember that it is Holy Week. Holy week marks the events leading up to Jesus' death and His resurrection. It starts with Palm Sunday, when Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey. Aloha parents and whānau, welcome to week 5 Last week was a week that was full of emotions. I want to send my sincerest apologies for delivering the news about my departure in a way where you felt like you should have been informed first. To be honest, I was not given any guidelines as to what the appropriate process was, but do know that I felt that your child was the most important person who needed to know first, as they would have had the biggest impact. Please be assured that we have found a teacher/s to fill in my place till the end of the term. They have also worked with our children. Mr Macmillan will send out a notification out tomorrow regarding this. I have definitely felt the love and support from everyone over the past few days. The children along with some of the Middle School teachers put on a surprise shared lunch and tears flowed again as they performed a Haka for me and a beautiful waiata.
