Tessellations

Over the last two weeks, we have been learning about tessellations. A tessellation is a pattern created with identical shapes which fit together with no gaps. You can create these patterns through translation, reflection, and rotation. Here are some patterns we found in our school.

Tena koutou and welcome to a new term of learning. The holidays have definitely allowed us to take some rest and to re-energise and get our brains ready for the wonderful learning that is going to take place this term. Week 9 Notices

 Talofa everyone. Last week was a jam-packed week full of so many exciting events. Our swimming sports last Monday was a real success. I am sending out a big congratulations to all our students who gave it a go and gave it their best. Also to our parent helpers, we are so grateful to have supportive parents who can help during the event. T h ank you so much for giving up some time to help in this.  We know there were touch games and a Pasifika Group performance that happened over the weekend. I am looking forward to hearing about how these went. If your child was involved in any of these events, and you took some photos, please email them to me and I will post them onto our blog. This week we remember that it is Holy Week. Holy week marks the events leading up to Jesus' death and His resurrection. It starts with Palm Sunday, when Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey.
